Have you ever asked yourself the question: “Where should I buy my used analog camera on the Internet?”
With this question, the journey to the infinite worlds of the Internet begins.
There are certainly hundreds of small markets, small platforms of collectors and even on Facebook there are always groups for the sale of used analog cameras.
After really looking at many markets, I come back to eBay classifieds. The reason is quite simple – you have a price with negotiation basis and the possibility to look at the camera and accessories directly at the seller. On site, something can still be changed in terms of price. Sometimes the seller also has a few more treasures in the basement, you just have to address it.
Even if you can try the old cameras directly and get an impression of the quality of the camera, I have asked myself more often how I used, already cleaned and tested cameras arrive without paying a completely excessive price.
Here I came across the website of Kamerastore in Finland by chance. The boys have made their profession as modest as saving analogue photography. I actually knew this in a similar form from the Impossible project from Vienna, related to Polaroid cameras. The guys from Kamerastore apparently distributed flyers in Europe and also made other “advertisements” and are looking for used cameras, which they then buy in large quantities. Collectors who separate from their cameras in old age and then sell them are particularly interesting here. These cameras are then inventoried in the headquarters of Kamerastore in Tampere in Finland, then repaired and maintained and then put online on their portal.
The purchase of cameras, lenses etc. has the very clear advantage that the cameras have all been serviced and work. This is very convenient for newcomers, because nobody has to worry about defective cameras. I can only recommend this warmly for any newcomer. Maybe just stop by and watch cameras. Prices are certainly higher than eBay classifieds, however the products are all tested, which is a huge advantage!
Make sure this fitsby entering your model number.
