  1. I dont need a better camera or video than i have on my Mini 2. I’m wanting a lil better OA. I’m waiting for the next DJI? Why? I think what i need is already on the market with the Air 2 or Evo 2. Wait for this, wait for that.I do however like the better range of the Evo 2. In midcoast Maine if i fly my Mini 2 300 yds and drop below the tree line into the next field i’m in the red. I need more range even after my add on antenna. I’m talkin winter time with no leaves on the trees.

  2. I am looking at the Skydio 2 and the Evo2.I have the Mini 2 as my 1st drone. The camera specs are fine. Not looking for any better.I'm not lookin for follow me being used in amongst the trees and down foot paths following a bike though i would be flying amongst field edges and amongst tree tops so the Skydio and it's capabilities aren't really needed. Now i want OA on top bottom sides and front n back.I don't want to fly up against the edge of a wooded area and have to either back out or turn around then raise up.I realize wires and small hardwood branches aren't always seen.I realize a drone flying at a high speed close to the ground can be affected by the forward sensors as i have seen it happen. The Autel evo 2 seems to be what i'm leaning towards as the Mavic Air 2 lacks some sensors.I have heard of twising on the arms of the Autel and a few firmware bugs that will probably be updated down the rd.What's your opinion on my next drone? Skydio is kinda out of my range once you buy the controller etc.Any help is appreciated. Can you sell me on this Evo2?Thx

  3. My feelings on the matter is I'm getting a pro 2 in about a month and watch the 3 when it comes out. If it's compelling enough I'll get one in about a year, give it time to get most of the kinks sorted out. Just got a mini 2 and am living it. Funny but as far as image quality goes it a big step up from my yuneec typhoon h. Easier to launch and fly and more stable.

  4. evo 2 was revolution? it is just bulky copy of mavic 2, lol (that actually copied while mavic 2 series). and by the way, you can actually swap zoom and pro gimbal on mavic 2 platform by yourself without any bigger problem..

  5. The controller on the Zoom and 2 Pro are outdated as well as the flight time. Im sure that the 3 will have image stabilization, interchangeable lenses, optical zoom, and a host of other features that will be more than "incremental." Young pilots today lack patience and I can verify this as a commercial UAS consultant and flight instructor. A Mavic 2 Pro or zoom shouldn't be a first drone period. The Mini and Air 2 are great "starter" drones. I suspect the Mavic 3 to be released by the summer or fall of next year and you will see a lot of impatient buyers kicking themselves because they didn't wait.

  6. You are so right, a drone and get it up. But what about the rumors of new drone laws and how is that going to effect the market? Like I just purchased the Autel EVO 2 I have the 1 and a DJI Mavic 2 zoom and the way things look fly sky is going to be limited
